RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK 

I acknowledge that I intend to undertake an organized activity with Rumbo Expedicion and that in order to do  this I will need to involve myself in dangerous activities, different living conditions and foods, and different  altitudes and weather patterns some in remote areas of the world, with a risk of illness (including infectious  diseases), injury of death which may be caused by forces of nature, illness, or by willful or criminal conduct of  third parties or by terrorism. In consideration of, and as payment for, the right to participate in such activities and  the services and food arranged for me by Rumbo Expedicion, I have and hereby assume all the associated risks  and will hold them harmless from any and all liability, actions, causes of action, debts, claims and demands of  every kind and nature whatsoever which I now have or which may arise out of or in connection with my trip or  participation in any other activities arranged for me by Rumbo Expedicion. The terms hereof shall serve as a  release and assumption of risk for my heirs, executors and administrators and for all members of my family,  including any minors accompanying me, if applicable.

EXPEDITION CLIENT AGREEMENT 

Reservation and Payment 

Deposit: To confirm reservations on all Rumbo Expedicion, a deposit of 50% (unless indicated otherwise at time  of booking) of the gross, non-discounted rate (minimum US$____ per person) is required at time of booking. The  deposit must be paid by major credit card, or wire transfer. For any bookings within 15 days of departure full  payment is required. Deposit amounts may vary for special promotions and are subject to the promotion terms 

and conditions. 

Payments: Balances are due 60 days prior to departure. Final payment can be made by major credit card, or  bank wire.  

Rumbo Expedicion is not responsible for any charges levied by third parties or financial institutions and payable  by you as a result of credit card or other payment transactions and will not refund or return any fees charged by  third parties or financial institutions in connection with payments made by you to Rumbo Expedicion. 

Late Payments: Rumbo Expedicion reserves the right to cancel any booking that is not paid within 15 days of  departure or deny boarding on any unpaid balances. 

Insurance: IT IS MANDATORY that the contracting party effects the necessary travel insurance, including a  medical, accident and repatriation/evacuation insurance. Rumbo Expedicion furthermore STRONGLY  RECOMMENDS the contracting party to effect cancellation insurance. In case of a medical problem arising  during the voyage, either on board or on shore, which results in costs for medical treatment, evacuation, use of  aircraft or repatriation etc. the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the passenger. IT IS  MANDATORY for the contracting party to ensure that such eventualities are covered by travel insurance (incl. 

medical, accident and repatriation/evacuation insurance). In any case, if not covered by appropriate travel  insurance the responsibility still remains with the passenger and Rumbo Expedicion specifically declines any  responsibility whatsoever. 

Special Requests: Rumbo Expedicion will always try to accommodate special requests but will not guarantee  such things as cabin/room number, bedding type, special meals and airline seats. Please ensure all special  requests are conveyed to your booking agent at time of reservation. 

Cancellations: 

The contracting party may cancel the travel contract (exclusively in writing) at any time before the beginning of  the trip. In the case of cancellation by the contracting party, Rumbo Expedicion is entitled to charge the  following cancellation fees to the contracting party: 

- up to and including 45 days prior to departure: 20% of the total price; 

- from 20 days up to 50% of the total price; 

- from 10 days up to and including the day of departure: 100% of the total price. 

Not with standing to what is mentioned above, Rumbo Expedicion has the right to cancel the scheduled  expedition up to 30 days before departure, if the minimum number of participants has not been achieved. Any  payment already made will be paid back by Rumbo Expedicion if the contracting party is not in agreement with  an alternative trip offered by Rumbo Expedicion.
